The Persist Kids Leadership program provides kids with the tools and strategies they need to not only succeed, but to triumph in the face of adversity and push through setbacks to achieve their goals.

In 2015, I started volunteering at my local school. I didn’t teach math, science, social studies or even history. Instead, I taught kids to believe in themselves. Regardless of their circumstances, they too could achieve their dreams if they worked hard and long enough. With a background in child behavior, I created a science backed program that works. What began as a once a month volunteer stint quickly morphed into something more.
Not only did the students ask for additional lessons, the teachers started to see real changes. Kids who were checked out before, started paying attention in class, and kids who didn’t see a future for themselves started thinking about what they wanted to do with their life. Today, Persist Kids is making a tangible difference in the lives of countless students across the country.
